KAMP Hawaii's “Life Mentoring Programs” sets the standard for the future of supplemental classroom education through the support of partnerships from Hawaii's
business community, other non-profit groups, churches, and governmental agencies.
We have five specialized programs. The KAMP Classroom Outreach Program, Outdoor Enrichment Program, Alternative Learning Center Outreach Program, Special Needs Outreach Program, and the Community Sports Education Program make KAMP Hawaii, “Life Mentoring Programs” a premier youth organization in Hawaii. Schools are working to establish a direct means of improving the quality of education through school-community programs like ours.
Hawaii's young people have more needs than ever before, with the influence of drugs, gangs, alcohol, tobacco, and all of the negative environments that surround them. KAMP Hawaii was formed to meet the needs of the youth in our communities. Our goal is to make a positive impact on the youth of Hawaii, by making a difference in the
lives of the youth that we serve, and to improve the attitudes and learning environment of our youth.
What stands out with KAMP Hawaii's program is that our staff is dedicated and has a heart for the youth in Hawaii. We believe that working with the youth of Hawaii is a privilege, and appreciate the opportunity we have as a staff to do what we do best. KAMP Hawaii is progressive, innovative, and creative in developing programs that meet the needs of our youth and our community. True success can be found when you can help someone to become a teacher or mentor themselves. We help our young people begin to take positive steps towards their future, using the responsive, compassionate, outreach programs that we provide. We look forward to serving the young people of Hawaii for many years to come.
