Classroom Outreach Program

GRADES 3 – 12

This program reinforces the Department of Education's General Learning Outcome Standards: self-directed learner, community contributor, complex thinker, quality producer, effective communicator, and effective and ethical user of technology. 

The curriculum is administered by KAMP Hawaiʻi personnel along with Alternative Learning Center students during school hours. Students are taught skills through this specialized curriculum leading up to an intensive camping experience. Mentors work with students four times a month for 1-hour to 2-hour sessions.
